Michael "Stix" Kiley Drum Circle Workshop
Bring your congas, your djembe, your hand percussion and join Michael to see what we can create together. For years Michael played both hand and kit percussion in the Twin Cities jazz scene. Michael will share with you the concept of "big ears" - generous, supportive ensemble playing - that sets his percussion work apart from others and shows you ways to fit your playing into the whole ensemble. There will be some drums and percussion instruments available for loan during the workshop.
