Bonds of Love: An Evening with Brian Asawa, Diana Tash and the Valley Symphony
LAVC and the VSO are proud to present two of operas brightest stars in a concert of operatic excerpts. International star countertenor Brian Asawa (winner of both the Metropolitan Opera Auditions and the Placido Domingo "Operalia" International Opera Competition) has sung in all the major opera houses around the world; mezzo-soprano Diana Tash (a winner of the Metropolitan Opera's Western Regional Auditions) has been called "radiant" by the LA TImes and "skillful" by the NY Times. These two artists join conductor Michael Arshagouni and the Valley Symphony Orchestra in a BENEFIT CONCERT of opera excerpts by Mozart, Handel, Gluck, Verdi, Rossini, Massenet and Weber. This is a concert you will not want to miss.
