13th ANNUAL MANHATTAN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
An extraordinary global event takes place the week of September 23rd to October 2nd 2011 when over 100,000 people in over 250 cities across six continents gather in Cinemas, Galleries, Universities, Museums and Cafes for one purpose...to view and vote on our Finalists' Films in the Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival
For Our Audience of film lovers everywhere, MANHATTAN SHORT is your chance to see the next generation of filmmakers from around the world. Over the past ten years six of our films were nominated for Oscars in the short film catagory. Many of the finalists have gone on to make notable feature films and we are big believers in the notion that it is "The Public that creates stars". And for a short film there is no bigger public then our audience - the worldwide public of MANHATTAN SHORT.
Partnering cinemas are situated in Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa, South America and North America, including venues in all 50 States of the United States. MANHATTAN SHORT is the first film festival to ever take place in all 50 States of the USA.
