Omar, a gnawi musician, returns to his village in Morocco after a seven year absence and discovers that his wife is dead and his daughter gone living in France. With the help of Hadi, who is mentally challenged, Omar embarks on a road trip through the Atlas Mountains to pick up his group of musicians to play at a traditional Moroccan wedding. With his daughter joining him and picking up a female sojourner along the way, this journey will start a healing process that will pave the way to a new beginning.
