The First Greater Texoma Orchestra Young Soloist Competition Concert
Highlighting the winners of the Soloist Competition held January, 2016, this concert marks the first of an on-going series of performances by the Greater Texoma Orchestra designed to provide performance and educational opportunities for exception young instrumentalists. The competition winners will perform movements of standard concerto repertoire in a formal concert setting, accompanied by the GTO, followed by an awards ceremony and the opportunity to join the Greater Texoma Orchestra in concluding the program with a performance of Schubert's masterful Symphony No. 5 in B-flat Major. Please plan to join us to help recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the next generation of serious musicians.
