BAAY Presents Bye Bye Birdie
When the draft selects rock star Conrad Birdie, his fans are devastated, but none more than struggling songwriter Albert Peterson, who writes all of Birdie's hits. Albert's longtime girlfriend, Rosie, pushes Albert to write a new tune that Birdie will perform on television to a fan selected in a contest for one last show before he goes off to war. Will the scheme work, with young Ohio teenager Kim McAfee declared the winner? Join us at the BAAY theater to see how the story unfolds. Bye Bye Birdie is our first summer camp of the summer! This show features students 9-15. BAAY is a nonprofit organization and we believe all students should have access to arts education. All of our ticket sales go to benefit our programs.
