Seminar: Advances in Audio Tools And Technology
Advances in audio tools and technologies have changed the way people make sound tracks. Larry Benjamin will provide an overview of the current tools and how methods have evolved over the years, how new tools have affected work flows and the economics of film making.
Larry Benjamin has wored in sound for pictures for over twenty years, mostly in episodic television. His filmography includes: Swingers, Love Hurts, Babylon 5, Charmed, CSI: Las Vegas, JAG NCIS, The Good Wife, Gossip Girl and on and on. He was nominated for the A Cinema Audio Society's Award for his work on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2000. He made the transition from mixing on traditional large format mixing consoles to working entirely in the ProTools Enviroment
and hasn't looked back.
