Marc Cohn
Marc Cohn, the 1991 Grammy winner for Best New Artist, is one of the most compelling singer-songwriters in contemporary music. He combines personal, introspective lyrics with a gift for melody and song structure that evokes such pop luminaries as Joni Mitchell and Robbie Robertson. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Cohn draws upon his current residency in New York for inspiration on his last album, 1998s BURNING THE DAZE.
