Heather Ordover (host, Craftlit Podcast, editrix, WHAT WOULD MADAME DAFARGE KNIT?), Ehren Ziegler (host Chop Bard Podcast, author Devouring Shakespeare), Kymberly Tuttle (actress, Chop Bard Podcast), Erica Smith (musician, Friend or Foe) and Rebecca Turner (musician, Slowpokes)

SCHEDULE

11am: REGISTRATION OPENS (registration continues throughout the event). Registration is $25.00 and includes two patterns from Heather Ordover's WHAT WOULD MADAME DAFARGE KNIT?one beginning level and one intermediate.  You will be able to come and go as you please during the event.

11:30 THE KNITTY-GRITTY!  The Knitting Begins!  Heather Ordover, host of the Craftlit podcast and editrix of WHAT WOULD MADAME DAFARGE KNIT? will give knitting lessons, knitting advice, and share general knitting wisdom. Chattering amongst yourselves is encouraged. Lively background music by internet radio station FOLK ALLEY.

12:00 BRUNCH A wide assortment of bagels and spreads, fruits, cheeses, vegetables and juices provided. Fresh Gourmet coffee for sale across the street.  Heather will be signing her book WHAT WOULD MADAME DAFARGE KNIT?

1:00  Variations on Taming of the Shrew performed live by Ehren Ziegler and Kymberly Tuttle of the Chop Bard Podcast, with discussion betwixt and between, followed by Ehren signing his book DEVOURING SHAKESPEARE.

3:00pm Chit Chat Relax  gossip about fictional people led by John Ordover (credits too numerous and various to list).

5:00  LIVE BY DAVE Great Sea-Faring Poetry performed, discussion between and following  the poetry selections are linked to the knitting patterns from the "Song of the Sea" section of the book WHAT WOULD MADAME DAFARGE KNIT?

600-8:00pm DINNER BREAK (plenty of restaurants in the area to be gone to or ordered in from, wine and cheese provided on-site) while for those who keep on knitting we'll present four episodes of SUSPENSE: Radio's Outstanding Theater of Thrills:  Cary Grant in "On a Country Road," Judy Garland in "Drive-In," Jimmy Stewart in "Consequence" and "Sorry, Wrong Number" starring Agnes Moorehead.

8:00-10:00pm: Erica Smith (her folk/Americana CD Friend or Foe prompted The Village Voice to declare "I think I love her") and Rebecca Turner ("Slowpokes has plenty of sweet vocals, sparkling strings and West Coast warmth to raise the temperature"  Beat Surrender) play a set or two and discuss writing songs/poetry, and craftiness; after they will sign and their various CDs.

10:00-11pm: AWARD CEREMONY! Prizes for whoever has knitted the most. Display of and applause for finished or semi-finished works. General hilarity.
