An Evening with Anne Hills
Anne Hills returns to Hogeye, and not a moment too soon. She brings her messages of love and hope and good cheer to a stage she helped create for others more than 30 years ago. Who delivers a song better than Anne Hills? And who delivers Anne Hills better than Hogeye Folk Arts?(Ans.: nobody and nobody.)
Talk to Anne for five minutes, and you walk away a better person. Listen to her sing, and it's a struggle to walk away at all. Her collaborations with artists such as Michael Smith are legendary. Wherever there is a song to be sung or a story to be told, if Anne hasn't already written it herself she knows just where to look and how to give it life. Maybe she'll bring Michael Smith with her, or maybe a juggling monkey (like last year). Even if she comes alone, Anne is guaranteed to leave you begging for more. Beg in a nice way, and Anne will probably sing for a month.
