Ms. Salisbury's presentation will center on a new phenomenon occurring in major cities known as the "Urban Heat Island Effect". This effect is causing cities to find new ways to help cool sweltering cities, saving energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. One way to cool cities is to cool the pavement. What are cool pavements, how cool is cool? What are the SB375 targets? Learn the answers to these questions in this one hour presentation.
