BAROQUE CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS

An annual Christmas concert featuring exciting vocal and instrumental music by Baroque composers, including a Trumpet Concerto by Torelli with Amanda Pepping, Christmas Cantatas by A. Scarlatti and Bernhard with Wanda Yang Temko, etc. Join us for this festive occasion which has been described by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as "the most satisfying concert of the holiday season"

- Manfredini: Concerto grosso, Op. 3, no 12 in C major (Christmas Concerto)
- Torelli: Concerto for Trumpet in D major
- Bernhard: Weihnachtskonzert "Fürchtet euch nicht!" for Soprano, 2 Violins and Continuo
- Scarlatti: Oh di Betlemme altera povertà "Cantata pastorale"
- Buxtehude: Passacaglia in D minor, BuxWV 161
- Handel: Samson, HWV 57: "Let the bright seraphim"
- Torelli: Concerto grosso, Op. 8, no 6 in G minor "Concerto di pastorale" (Christmas Concerto)
