Amazing Grace
SF Sings presents the San Francisco Concert Chorale with Guest Artist Anders Paulsson- internationally known Swedish soprano saxophonist, composer, arranger, and environmentalist- in an evening of beautiful and inspiring choral music. This Amazing Grace concert will feature unique arrangements by Mr. Paulsson including traditional American spirituals such as Deep River and Bright Morning Stars that take on a new depth and wonder with the addition of classical and jazz flavored saxophone accompaniment. Contemporary Swedish composers Jan Sandstrom and Lars Jansson will be represented in the mixed concert that includes a capella choir, saxophone, percussion and organ. For this very special event, the San Francisco Concert Chorale will be joined by the Valley Concert Chorale and Las Positas Chamber Singers, directed by Robert Lappa.
