July 16th On-The-Farm Dinner with Citysticks & Anna Bow
Matt Blance of Anna Bow & Justin Harter of Citysticks present East Meats West, a three-course, travel inspired dinner at Edgemere Farm! As partners at the Citysticks Parlor of the 97th Street Concessions, Matt & Justin know dessert. Like really know dessert. But their talents certainly don't stop there. For this dinner, they'll be combining their signature style of fresh and playful cuisine with their love of travel (Matt has worked in kitchens all over the world, and Justin has brought Citysticks, ice pops with personalities, coast to coast from the Rockaway Beach shoreline to LA). Sourcing ingredients straight from the farm, this dinner will not only be delicious, it'll cure your culinary wanderlust!

BYO-BOWL To minimize the waste our farm produces, we ask you to bring to the farm your own bowl to eat out of. We hope you'll help us form a beautiful medley of plateware, starting with one of your favorite (and reusable!) bowls. We'll even wash it off for you at the end of the night.

ABOUT THE CHEFS Matt Blance started working in kitchens when he was 16 years old, peeling onions and rolling out pizza dough in his homeland Australia. Once the tears from all the onions dried he realized it was love. He's worked in kitchens around the world: NZ, AU, Europe, and the United States which has given him a vast knowledge of many different cuisines.
Justin Harter too began his career in food & beverage around the age of 16 but on the opposite side of the fryer. Justin quickly found himself in every position on the restaurant floor from bus boy to Maitre-d. It was his formidable experience as restaurant manager and his love of cocktailing that took him into ice pops.
Matt and Justin met through a mutual friend in 2013 while pursuing their mutual interest of fresh juicy fun in the sun. Together they founded the Citysticks Parlor at the 97th Street Concessions in Rockaway. Independently Justin brought Citysticks to LA and Matt opened Anna Bow on the corner of Rockaway Beach Blvd and 96th Street!
