David Nail at The Davis Grad
Nashville recording artist David Nail will be performing a live concert at The Davis Graduate on Thursday, August 18, 2011. The Grad is excited to feature one of country music's bright young stars. The concert will include Mr. Nail's full back-up band.
The Missouri-born Nail "bridges the gap between traditional country and the soulful stylings of a Lionel Richie and Ray Charles", and includes among his musical influences Glen Campbell, Stevie Wonder, Elton John and the Beatles. Nail's latest single, "Let It Rain" is his third top-40 single on the country charts. "I feel like regardless of where you grew up, city, small town, east Coast, west coast or whatever, there's something in this music that you can relate to," he says. "They might not all be exactly the same, but everyone has those moments; the first time you left home, falling in love, losing love. That's what moves me, what I can dig into."
