Swing for the Spirit & Soul - an uplifting and meaningful collection of tunes from Great American Songbook.
Since their first meeting at a Chicago gig, jazz vocalist Petra van Nuis and jazz pianist Dennis Luxion knew they had a unique musical connection. Their shared aesthetic was immediately evident and they have been making beautiful music together ever since. Their love of fantastic tunes, both well-worn and obscure, and the desire to communicate them in a honest and straightforward way where the lyric reigns supreme is what makes the listening experience special for audiences
