The Ronen Trio: Burke Schuchmann, cello, Yael Ronen, flute & Jannie Lo, piano
All three members of this trio are performing soloists as well as chamber musicians. The youngest, Ms. Lo, is in great demand as an outstanding accompanist; Ms. Ronen is principal flute of the North State Symphony and Burke Schuchmann, the Bay Area cellist who plays to your heart, has performed many times in Mendocino - for the Festival, the Symphony and for FBCA.
Known for the transcendent beauty of his tone and expression, Schuchmann seems to touch the soul of the listener as he communicates the emotion of the music. San Francisco based pianist Jannie Lo, a graduate of Peabody Conservatory won numerous awards in piano competitions and appeared in a "Young Virtuosos" Gala Concert in Carnegie Hall. Jannie is a graduate of the Mendocino Music Festival's Young Artist Program.
