The Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra
Pennsylvania Avenue was once the heart of arts and entertainment in Baltimore with multiple venues that presented jazz greats including Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Dizzy Gillespie.
Past decades saw the area struggle with poverty, crime, and drugs but a resurgence over recent years through the work of the nonprofit Newborn Holistic Ministries and its Jubilee Arts program once again offers arts programming on Pennsylvania Avenue.
On July 23 at 8pm, Jubilee Arts is proud to take another step in reclaiming the once proud legacy of arts on Pennsylvania Avenue by presenting The Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra in concert at The Harris-Marcus Center at 1947 Pennsylvania Avenue.
The Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra performs modern jazz and features six horns, piano, bass, and drums. For more about the band visit: www.toddmarcusjazz.com
Tickets for this performance are only $10 and is made possible by a grant from Chamber Music America and support from Contemporary Arts, The Maryland State Arts Council, and the Baltimore County Commission on Arts.
