WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE is an experiment in non-traditional narrative filmmaking. The
film attempts to engage with the question of what happens to an individual whose sense of self
and identity is displaced by the complexities and estrangement of the modern city?
As her dreams of making it in the big apple are trodden by the current economic crisis,
Catherine returns to her college town of Bloomington, Indiana. Here, she rediscovers the joys
of nature and friendship, but most importantly Catherine comes to understand that there are
many different ways to define success and live a life of fulfillment
