"Staff Showcase Night" with Left Hand Does and Box Five
The Staff Showcase night at the Lizard Lounge continues a monthly residency featuring new and upcoming faves from the amazing staff of the Lizard Lounge...
Box Five combines sophisticated 18th-century chord progressions and bratty Britrock hooks into a musical succotash they like to call "classipop". Plus, frontwoman Mary Bichner has the zany musical superpowers of perfect pitch and synesthesia. Awesome! Left Hand Does plays dancey, dark, edgy pop with a distinct 80s influence. Frontsiblings Luke and Jean Sullivan have been standing creepily in the shadows of the Boston scene since 2001. You may have also seen Luke behind the drums with Pheonix favorites Night Fruit and Stereo Telescope.
