Music at Meyer 2012 Season Subscription
Music at Meyer announces our 9th Season! Now available: season subscriber ticket allows entry to each of 7 concerts of the 2012 season:
MAM 2012 Season (All dates Monday night, January through May)
January 9: Daniel Pollack, piano. Pollack was recently featured in a profile in the New York Times headlined "Piano Man, Winning Russian Hearts and Minds" in which it was quoted, "he is now a legend in Russia."
January 23: Israeli Chamber Project. A new ensemble that brings together some of the finest young Israeli musicians to perform classic and contemporary chamber music of the highest quality (www.israelichamberproject.org)
Febuary 13: Kyle Ferrill, baritone
March 12: Anthony De Mare, Re-Imagining Sondheim. Featuring the work of 30 commissioned composers creating solo piano pieces based on the music of Stephen Sondheim
April 23: SF Symphony Chamber Ensemble featuring Chen Zhao, (violin), Amy Hiraga (violin), Jonathan Vinocour (viola), and Peter Wyrick (cello)
May 7: Zina Schiff, violin. Described by the New York Times as an instrumentalist of "Luscious high voltage...vintage Heifetz." Accompanied by Zsuzsanna Lukacs, piano.
May 14: SFOC Adler Fellows. A MAM tradition, these rising stars from the SF Opera Center return for a delightful evening of favorite arias.
