Whidbey Island Music Festival Program IV
Buxtehude continued the tradition of Abendmusik at the Marienkirche in Lubeck. These concerts were the forerunners of concerts of our modern day concerts and recitals, and were the first non-liturgical performances in a concert setting. Featuring wildly expressive music from 17th century Germany - a rare and delectable treat that you won't want to miss.
