DCTV Presents Narrative Storytelling in Documentary Film with Sam Pollard
Join us for this very special evening with renowned filmmaker Sam Pollard.

Through Mr. Pollard's illustrious thirty-year career as a producer, director and editor of fiction and non-fiction films, he has become a master of narrative storytelling. In this intimate master class, he will share with us how his experience working in fiction films (including frequent collaborations with Spike Lee), has informed his ability to craft compelling narratives out of non-fiction material.

Screening clips from acclaimed films such as Jungle Fever, Clockers, Bamboozled, 4 Little Girls, If God is Willing, and Style Wars, he'll take us through his unique creative process, focusing on how to find, craft and shape a story, even when your documentary footage seems to have no rhyme or reason.

Don't miss this incredible opportunity to learn from one of the industry's most respected storytellers.
