The Dread Crew of Oddwood is a folk metal band known for its pirate-themed music played exclusively on acoustic instruments. They have dubbed this unique style as Heavy Mahogany.
Over the past 6 years The Dread Crew of Oddwood has independently booked 8 national tours, performing at over 70 venues throughout the U.S. and Canada. They just returned from Piratefest America, where they supported Alestorm and Swashbuckle in their quest for hooks and booty. This crew of bearded brigands packs bars and concert halls with rabid fans that flock to experience a headbanging, jig-dancing, pirate-filled adventure. Locally, they've directly supported the bands Turisas, Firewind, Rhapsody of Fire, Arkona, Stolen Babies, Buckethead, and Steam Powered Giraffe.
Rainbowdragoneyes
Rainbowdragoneyes began carving his own niche in 2006, and has remained there ever since. Using primitive video game hardware such as the Nintendo GameBoy and Sega Genesis, he writes what can only be described as Extreme Chiptune Dance Metal adding equal parts whimsical prose, anthemic melody and unequivocal fury with his vocal assault.
Eikthyrnir
Merging the genres of Folk and Power Metal with the virtuosity and technique of Progressive Rock while occasionally dipping into the ferocity of Black Metal, Eikthyrnir creates a journey for the listener in each song. With such a vast range of influence, the band crosses genres at a moment's notice without any warning. Through this process, Eikthyrnir tells tales of epic proportions through equally magnificent songwriting. The Band's debut release Under the Old Oak Tree is a prime example of genre crossing, energetic, and beautiful music.
