Matinee Solo Piano Concert Featuring Liz Story, Lisa Downing, Lee Bartley
These three unforgettable solo piano performances will feature multiple Grammy Award Nominee Liz Story, Lee Bartley, and Lisa Downing.  All three artists are winners of numerous International Awards.

Pianist-composer, Liz Story, nominated for seven Grammy Awards, is one of the foremost pioneers of contemporary solo piano who recorded on the now legendary Windham Hill record label.  Her musical style defies traditional description and has inspired countless musicians since her debut album "Solid Colors" was released in 1983.  With a dozen albums to her credit, her works cross many musical genres and paint a spectacular musical panorama.

Born in Colorado, Lisa Downing possesses an absolute passion for writing and performing her own unique style, self described as "Piano Impressionism." In 2010, her most recent album "A Delicate Balance," was the #4 album in the world for Radio Airplay in its genre, while her Holiday CD "Christmas for Two" won ZMR Holiday Album of the Year.  Last fall, she traveled to the Imaginary Roads Studio in Vermont, where she began recording her next album produced by Will Ackerman, founder of the legendary record label...Windam Hill.

Lee Bartley is well known as the principal composer and keyboardist for the Denver-based and very popular classical jazz group, "Images."   With "Images," Lee recorded six national releases, among them CDs for both MCA Universal Masterseries and Capitol Records, charting as high as #8 and #9 in R&R Magazine for national radio air play.  As the principal composer for "Images," and as a soloist, he has recorded over 40 original compositions.  Lee has chosen to stay with music that is pretty to the ear, calming to the soul, and classically structured.  Although he plays jazz and could compose a more modern style of music, he instead chooses to focus mostly on what he calls "Classical Art Songs."
