ZoukFest Celebration Night 1
After a successful Albuquerque debut in 2009, Zoukfest returns for the full week-long camp from June 5-11 with a full week of classes on a wide variety of instruments and styles from around the world. Expert instruction on bodhran, bouzouki, Irish flute, fiddle, mandolin and voice are just a few examples. There are 25 workshops each day with a dozen master musicians. Friday night will feature Irish, Balkan, and Bluegrass music with Luke Plumb, Moira Smiley, Steve Smith, Stanley Greenthal, Paddy League, Blayne Chastain, and Roger Landes. Saturday will be mostly Irish with some Old Time Appalachian and French music: Alec Finn, Randal Bays, Brian McGrath, Moira Smiley, Eliot Grasso, Douglas Goodhart, and Roger Landes.
