As 2015 marks the 100th anniversary of Billie Holiday's birthday, it's only fitting that tributes to one of the world's most legendary musicians would abound. There have been honorary albums, concerts, and even Broadway shows, but perhaps the most fitting platform for a tribute is simply a concert in an intimate jazz club -- the domain that Holiday reigned over during her career. Local vocalist Dizzy Burnett will be channeling Lady Day for this concert, performing some of her best-loved material and honoring the full breadth of Holiday's expansive contributions to popular music.
