Bob Dylan's 70th Birthday Tribute
Today we celebrate the 70th birthday of Caffe Lena's most famous alum, the unsurpassed songwriting legend Bob Dylan. Bob Dylan performed at Caffe Lena in 1960 and 1961, playing sets of traditional songs rather than the celebrated anthems he was soon to release. Dylan's presence at Caffe Lena is felt in the profound influence he has had on all the songwriters who followed him onto our stage, inspiring five decades of personal reflection and powerful poetry.
Tonight we welcome a host of regional musicians to play Dylan's best loved songs, and raise funds to support Caffè Lena on the ocassion of the venue's 51st anniversary.
