Let's all start 2015 San Diego Comic Con with a classy party!

Geeks Go Glam is the only party at Comic Con where tuxedos, dresses and high heels are not only encouraged - they are part of the fun. Come in your best nerdy black tie or glamorous nerdy ensemble.

So what's going to happen?

There will be live music, a tea party offering of tea, coffee and delicious snacks, a photo booth, a raffle with amazing prizes from your favorite chic nerdy retailers and lots of dancing with other glamorous geeks.

The first annual Geeks Go Glam party is hosted by The Nerdy Girlie and Being Geek Chic!

Being Geek Chic is a blog for stylish geeks, sophisticated nerds and people who enjoy the musings of a complete dork. Join us as we dream of driving the TARDIS, cuddle with our eBooks and test out an iPad sleeve. It's written by Elizabeth Giorgi and a team of brilliant lady nerds.

The Nerdy Girlie is a blog that aims to build a community with ALL nerds and to encourage and support other nerd girls! Our goal is to help EVERYONE have a fantastic San Diego Comic Con and introduce you to new fandoms!

FAQ:
1. Do I have to really wear a suit?
A: No! This is not a requirement at all! Being glam can happen in shorts. And if you're really brave, you can wear a tuxedo t-shirt! No hate from us.

2. It's going to be hot in San Diego, are you sure we should dress up?
A: We understand! Ladies have it much easier with skirts and dresses! For the dudes, feel free to go for beach glam. We just want to see your smiling faces!

3. There are other parties that night, will I miss anything if I come later?
A: No! Our party doesn't start strictly at 8. It's a mixer with drinks and treats and entertainment all through the evening.

4. Can we buy tickets at the door?
A: Currently, we are not offering tickets the night of the event, so please pre-order.

5. Can I bring a friend?
A: Yes! Just be sure you buy an extra ticket for anyone you may want to join you. It's not necessarily tied to your name. Just need an extra ticket.
