Trio Garufa & Un Deux Trois
A high-energy evening of music from Argentina and France, with Trio Garufa--one of the foremost interpreters of Argentine Tango in a generation--and Un Deux Trois, putting a contemporary spin on traditional French songs and dance music. Trio Garufa features Adrian Jost on banyan and bandoneon, Sascha Jacobsen on the bass, and Guillermo Garcia on guitar. Mixing a deep respect for Golden Era Tango with the new excitement of Tango Nuevo, Trio Garufa's music is impassioned, refined, and highly danceable. Un Deux Trois features Robert Lunceford on accordion, Lisa Iskin on guitar and vocals, and Josh Fossgreen on bass guitar. Their repertoire includes Ball Musette, traditional dance tunes, and original compositions.
