Margaret Glaspy in concert
Margaret Glaspy makes noise and people listen. Originally from Northern California, Margaret is now a New York City rising star. A committed student to the music around her, her influences include Elliott Smith, Feist, and Joni Mitchell. She's shared the stage with Rachael Yamagata, Ricky Skaggs, John Scofield, Del McCoury, and many others. Her debut EP "if & when" is proof that she's got a sound and writing style that is undeniable and well beyond her 26 years. Her songs achieve depth most will never reach. Her writing is top notch, her playing is among the best anywhere, and her voice is simply haunting and enchanting at the same time.
