Makenna & Shelby
Sisters Makenna and Shelby Caper make up the rising country music duo, Makenna & Shelby. Born in Lebenon, Ohio, they grew up with strong influences of music from their family. After growing up with interests in music and performing, they decided to start singing together. They started performing as guest artists with some of the best country bands in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, performing covers of some of the biggest hits in country music. During this time, they began focusing on writing their own songs and also learned how to play guitar and piano to make themselves well-rounded artists. As singer/songwriters, they put their own stamp on their sound which is both relatable and relevant.
