With the Fourth of July just around the corner, the Cheah Chan Duo kicks off the festivities of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness with a recital of songs and reminiscences from France and beyond. Come and join the Duo for a beautiful programme of vocal and piano music featuring French and non-French composers but all in French! Featuring music by Samuel Barber, Amy Beach, Nadia Boulanger, Cecile Chaminade, Claude Debussy, George Enescu, Guillaume Lekeu, Franz Liszt, Olivier Messiaen, Francis Poulenc, Maurice Ravel, Erik Satie, Germaine Tailleferre, and more.
