CIMMFest 2011: An Island

French filmmaker Vincent Moon teamed up with the Danish post-rock band Efterklang to make an experimental performance film using the songs from their album Magic Chairs as a starting point for a series of intensive, inventive collaborations with the island's residents and reactions to its natural and man-made features. Part documentary, part concert film, part experimental film, An Island is a beautiful document of the surprises and joys of collaborative art.
