STACY PHILLIPS AND PAUL HOWARD
Stacy Phillips and Paul Howard Duet is an acoustic duet playing Americana and original music (from jazz and originals to Caribbean and Hawaiian). Called a "resophonic guitar virtuoso. . .stretching the stylistic limits of his instrument," by Dirty Linen magazine, Stacy has performed with top acoustic musicians over the world. He has three solo albums and is a featured artist on the Grammy award-winning album The Great Dobro Sessions. Stacy is also the author of more than 25 books and DVDs on various aspects of his chosen instruments.
Paul Howard is a Connecticut-born guitarist, singer and songwriter who has been working as a professional musician and teacher for all his adult life. He discovered acoustic music via the music of Jonathan Edwards and Dan Hicks. Since 1975, he has been a member of Last Fair Deal and solidified the progressive direction the band was beginning to take at that time. Paul is also a prolific author of music instruction books and videos.
