Pride Idol Presented by Seattle Out and Proud!
** NOTE: There is a $10.00 entry fee to compete. There is NO fee to come and watch!! Please invite all your friends! **
Who's going to take home the Pride Idol Trophy this year? Why not let it be you? Pride Idol is a citywide talent contest produced by Seattle Out and Proud, and Presented by Seattle Out and Proud!
It happens every Sunday Night beginning in March 27th at Neighbours Nightclub on Capitol Hill. Doors open at 6:00pm where contestants will check in and the competitions start at 7:00pm. The finale will be held on June 19th, 2011 and the winner will perform on the Pride Idol Float in the Seattle Pride Parade on Sunday June 26th, 2011.
For each night of performance, there will the theme genre's should you wish to sing a song in the style of each night's theme. Theme night's are as follows:
Sunday March 27th - Easy Open
Sunday April 3rd - R&B Night
Sunday April 10th - Gospel Night
Sunday April 17th - Diva Night
Sunday April 24th - 80's Night
Sunday May 1st - Pop Culture Night
Sunday May 8th - Latino Night
Sunday May 15th - Country Music Night
Sunday May 29th - Soundtrack Night
Sunday June 5th - Burlesque Night

For those interested in performing and do sign up, please come prepared with 2 two song choices (although you may not sing 2) and a brief bio of yourself.
