Civil War Reenactment
Celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War's end
June 27, & 28 2015 at Hartwood Acres, Pittsburgh, PA
Hosted by Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum
and The County of Allegheny
"Passing of Armies" is a Civil War living history event. Authentic Civil War soldiers and civilians will be encamped at Hartwood Acres to reenact life in 1865. Soldiers will perform military demonstrations and
conduct a battle reenactment with Sunday's highlight being a recreation of the surrender at Appomattox. Historical artifacts will be on display along with speakers who will present sessions on topics regarding the war.
