Anelgo Divino salutes Duke Ellington in Remembering Ruth
This will be Angelo's 3rd appearance for the series, which is in its 6th season. "Last year, his "Let Me Be Frank" Sinatra tribute was nearly sold out and ended with the audience shouting out song titles and pleads for more which led to 6 more" says Les Michaels, who produces the series. He continues, "Angelo has a voice and personality that appeals to everyone, but most comment on his ability to tell a story". In this case, the stories come from Ruth Ellington during a long friendship with Angelo, along with songs made famous by Duke with accompanist Mike Saul on the baby grand.
