Filmmaking Boot Camp: Grades 9 -12
Filmmaking Boot Camp: Grades 9 -12 When: June 27 - July 1 Time: 8:30AM- 1:30PM daily Where: IFP Phoenix/ PFF Classroom
Objective: Participants will collaborate on an original film production that will be developed, performed and edited during the week. Through hands-on learning, students will participate in the creative and technical elements of digital filmmaking from pre-production to post-production. Participants will explore original stories and ideas by using improvisation and low-budget filmmaking techniques. At the conclusion of the camp, participants will demonstrate an understanding of the basic technical elements of digital filmmaking, an increased ability to collaborate with others on a team, and an ability to assemble traditional and non-traditional elements to develop an original and creative short film. Cost: $300 / wk Lunch will not be provided. No previous filmmaking experience is required, but existing talents, skills, and knowledge will be employed and built upon.
