Cornell University Chorus
Join us for a very special concert by the Cornell University Chorus, one of the nation's outstanding women's choirs. Under the direction of Professor Scott Tucker, the sixty-member choir performs a repertoire spanning eight centuries and ten languages, including masses, motets, spirituals, folk, and a variety of other classical and contemporary pieces. This year's repertoire consists of selections by Daniel Friderici, Hans Leo Hassler, David Conte, Daniel E. Gawthrop, and Johannes Brahms, in a variety of different languages including English, Latin, Italian, French, and German.
The concert is part of an eight-day tour of Canada and the Northeast that features stops in Rochester, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Vermont, and concludes with a concert in Cornell's Sage Chapel. Tickets: $10 adults, $8 senior/student.
