We're Goin' Country/Bluegrass
The creators of the popular "Middlebury Does Motown," and "The History of Rock n Roll," Shari Charron, Bill van Zyverden, and Chuck Miller present "We're Goin' Country/Bluegrass" to benefit the Foundation for Alcoholism Research.
The songs in the show come from Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Earl Scruggs, Old Crow Medicine Show, Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Deana Carter, Soggy Bottom Boys, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, among others, and there will be room for dancing as well. It is an awesome show, fun and energetic, and will have people tapping their feet and clapping their hands all the way through it.
The show's beneficiary, the Foundation for Alcoholism Research (FAR) is a non-profit charity incorporated in 2008 to raise and distribute funds to perform research in the cause, identification, detection, prevention, control, treatment, and cure of alcoholism.
Shows start at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door.
