Songs of Our Elders

After writing original songs with local elders in the community, SageArts if offering a concert to celebrate the lives of these incredible octogenarian and nonagenarians in our community!

We will honor Pauline Delson, Rosalind Mae Stark, Carlo Travaglia, Janet Fulmer and Richard Geldard. Original songs were written collaboratively with them to capture something of essence about their lives. Songwriters include Elly Wininger, Dave Kearney, Elizabeth Clark-Jerez, Bonnie Meadow and Jim Metzner.

The songwriters will be joined by musicians Peter Wetzler, Stephen Johnson, Eleni Reyes, Karen Levine and Elena Erber of Caprice Rouge, and the Mamalama band. Talented young singers and dancers will join in, many of whom are part of the Vanaver Caravan.

We will also have select songs written in honor of elders performed by our newest songwriters: Sarah Perrotta, Vicki Russell, Heather Masse and Sarah Kramer-Harrison.

We will offer a festive reception with finger foods.
