Mr. Kaplan
Eccentric and humorous Jacobo Kaplan has lived a good, but ordinary, life since fleeing Europe for Uruguay. Suddenly, at 76, he seeks to validate his existence with a bizarre notion: the elderly German immigrant who owns a beach restaurant must be a Nazi war criminal. Kaplan decides he has to capture him and bring him to Israel for trial. He becomes a modern Don Quixote, clumsily tilting at his illusionary windmill, even accompanied by his own Sancho Panza.
