Peabody at Homewood: Vinca Quartet
Praised for their "stunning" musicianship (New York Times), this brilliant young group (Jessica Tong, Aaron Requiro, violins; Laura Seay, viola; An-Lin Bardin, cello) has risen to the top of American chamber music with their youthful flamboyance and innovative programming. They perform Beethoven's String Quartet No. 8 in E minor, Op. 59, No. 2, "Razumovsky" and Bartok's String Quartet No. 3. The event is offered in conjunction with Homewood Museum's current student-curated focus exhibition, "Privileged Pursuits: Cultural Refinement in Early Baltimore."
