The Music of Joy
Join San Francisco Renaissance Voices (Todd Jolly, Music Director) for this concert celebrating Early Music America's 25th Anniversary; featured works include Tomás Luis de Victoria's joyful Missa Gaudeamus and other songs of joy from the Renaissance and Baroque featuring William Byrd's Acendit Deum in Jubilatione and Psallite Domino; Orlando Gibbons' Hosanna to the Son of David, Jubilate Deo by Adriano Banchieri and Josquin des Prez, Alleluya by Thomas Tallis and Henry Purcell's Alleluia and his exuberant coronation anthem for James II, I was Glad.
