The Bainbridge Chorale's 43rd concert season finishes with a retrospective of our favorite pieces spanning the five years of Artistic Director Michael Miller's tenure with the Chorale. Beloved of singers and audiences alike, these pieces showcase a wide range of choral styles and moods, from the meditative a capella classic "Salvation is Created", composed by Pavel Tchesnokov as a communion hymn in the early 20th century, to the rousing Moses Hogan spiritual "The Battle of Jericho", with stops in between to visit the best of the contemporary canon by Eric Whitacre, Morten Lauridsen and Frank Ticheli, and many others. Featured as well are a presentation of the Chorale's signature work, our commissioned piece "Tides of Peace" by noted composer John Muehleisen, and Michael Miller's exquisite composition,"Virga Jesse Floruit".
