The Secret Garden
Mountlake Terrace Dance Academy presents, The Secret Garden, a story based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Brunett.
Dance classes and soloists from the MLT Dance Academy will take you on Mary's journey of mystery, friendship and the power of nature to heal the heart and the body.
Mary Lennox is a troubled and spoiled orphan who is sent to live with her reclusive Uncle. After she discovers a secret garden that has been locked up for a decade she grows into a nurturing young gardener. Her new friend Dickon, and a host of animals and bugs help her bring the garden and her cousin Colin back to health. This lovely story of rejuvenation through nature and outdoor exercise is as relevant today as it was when it was written 100 years ago.
Come enjoy this family, friendly event including Tap Dance, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Hawaiian Hula and more.
