Mocrep presents Diels, Lyle, & Younge
In its Evanston debut, Mocrep will present works by 3 young, female composers Natacha Diels, Jenna Lyle, and Bethany Younge. The program will include the world premiere (and Mocrep commission!) of Bethany Younge's Her I Is She This.

Natacha Diels: Second Nightmare, for Kiku (2013) for violin & 2 assistants
Jenna Lyle: Stitch (2013, 2015) for flute & percussion with fabric installation
Bethany Younge: Her I Is She This (2015) for recorder, double bass, & 2 percussionists
Mocrep is a Chicago-based ensemble dedicated to performing music that engages with contemporary culture - aesthetically, socially, and politically. We specialize in 21st century chamber works that blur the distinction between music, theater, and performance art to expose and reimagine the role of performance in contemporary society.
