A celebration of women in music, featuring compositions by and about women. Composers include Fanny Hensel, Lili Boulanger, Alice Parker, Emma Lou Diemer, Andrea Clearfield, Abbie Betinis and more.
A special highlight will be the world premieres of two works, commissioned by the Chorale for this concert, by New York City composers Martha Sullivan and Harry Einhorn.
Exploring music from numerous eras, countries, languages, and traditions, this concert will be as beautifully diverse as women themselves.
