Antsy McClain & The Trailer Park Troubadours
"Antsy McClain is a rising star on the American folk scene." - The London Times

Antsy McClain's new CD, "Heroes Last Forever: The Sun Sessions", was recorded at the legendary Sun Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. This studio is the famous recording home of musical icons including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins, U2, and Bruce Springsteen. Now THAT'S some good company!

Antsy and the Troubs are also joined by some amazing friends on their recent CD's with guest appearances by Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac, international guitar legend Tommy Emmanuel, rock-and-roll legend Bobby Cochran of Steppenwolf, the one and only Tommy Smothers, and R&B queen Bonnie Bramlett.

Emma Smith of The London Times declared, "Antsy McClain is a rising star on the American music scene." You've heard their music featured on NPR's "All Things Considered" and "Car Talk" and across the country on radio stations that know good music when they hear it!

A glimpse of song titles of fan favorites offers a look into McClain's wry blend of humor and emotional depth. He serves up an ode to pseudo-celebrity in "Ron Howard's Brother" and revels in the irony of "I Was Just Flipped Off By A Silver Haired Old Lady." Then there's Mary Ann Meyers, the gal who puts the funk in "DysFUNKtional." Mix in songs like "Cubic Zerconium In The Rough," "Joan of Arkansas," "KOA Refugee" and "Prozac Made Me Stay," and it's obvious that McClain has a slightly skewered view of life in the U.S. of A. He also covers slice-of-real-life drama in songs like "Falling In Love In America" and "Primer Gray Impala." He can make his audience laugh and even crysometimes in a single song.
